(4 – 5 Years Old)

Our Pre-Kindergarten class continues to stimulate learning. Our curriculum is a successful quality academic program. In this class children master the vowels, consonants and their sounds through enjoyable classroom teaching.  They begin to form blends and start reading simple words. The phonics and reading learned in K4 can help children in following years as they expand their knowledge in many areas. Children also learn various mathematical skills such as number recognition, number concept, pattern, graphing and beginning arithmetic skills. Students receive additional practice by using their number and phonics workbooks.  Teachers conduct periodic evaluations on the children to assure that their milestones are met and the results are shared with the parents in our communication folders.  Our program enhances multicultural education by helping students understand the diversity of many cultural groups and increase knowledge of the world around us.  Teachers also extend the learning at home by issuing family involved projects throughout the school year.
